I was the first in my friend group to try tampons, thinking they’d be more convenient than pads. However, I still struggled with dryness and rashes, so I researched alternatives and discovered the menstrual cup around 2008. It instantly transformed my period experience.
The idea behind Glow Getter began in 2008 when I volunteered in remote areas of Nepal. While there, I saw many girls and women using old cloths or wearing a single pad for 10-12 hours—an unhygienic and unsafe practice. Motivated by this, I purchased menstrual cups and began donating them from my own funds. Soon, I realized the need was much larger, and I decided to create a company that could help. For every five cups sold, we began donating one to those in need. Since then, we’ve been able to donate hundreds.
Our mission is to raise awareness about the Glow Getter Menstrual Cup—not just as a healthier option for women, but also as a way to contribute to a better environment. We are bringing only safe and FDA USA standard registered products to Nepal.
